Blaine Smith is my name – I am the proprietor of Design Smith Online. My journey into the world of laser engraving, printing and woodworking started years ago as a creative way to balance my career. It started out as a hobby but quickly became a passion with more and more friends approaching me for customized projects. It was at that point that I knew how much potential could be realized from this work, both for myself and others; therefore, I decided to take up the challenge and make it a small business on the side, called DesignSmith- where creativity meets craftsmanship.

DesignSmith specializes in creating individualized objects with warmth and personality. Specifically, these are things like laser engraved products, CNC engraved pieces, printed items and traditional woodworking crafts among others. Each item has been thoughtfully designed and carefully crafted so that each of them is not just an object but also art which tells story. For me design is about trying to create something that makes people feel good. This means consistently exploring new ways of expressing creative ideas through my work.
